Tareen Oxford Scholorship:
Oxford University announced Tareen Oxford Scholarship for Pakistani students with a preference for gifted students. The Tareen Oxford Scholarship will be a support for South Punjab students, was unveiled by the Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP). It will be made possible by the generous support of Mr. Ali Tareen
According to an official statement from OPP, students will get the scholarship who have been offered admission at the University of Oxford Kellogg College that are eligible but lack the funds to accept the offer. It’s a golden opportunity for the students of Pakistan, especially from South Punjab to increase their representation at the University of Oxford.
“Preference will be given to students for whom the scholarship will be a life-changing opportunity and who have the potential and commitment to contribute to the development of South Punjab,” the statement said.
The Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP) awards at least three graduate scholarships each year to deserving Pakistani students. Also includes British Pakistani students. This year, the OPP scholarship will help cover the both student’s tuition fees and living expenses.
This opportunity will be crucial in fostering the intellectual growth of South Punjab’s talented young scholars, in one of Pakistan’s least developed provinces.
For the final year students of South- Punjab, an access conference will be held to pursue MSc and PhD degrees abroad. It will be a part of an access program for students who want to get scholorship oppertunity in UK.
